Year 6 had a great morning at a local secondary school as part of our transition work. They got to spend time in a secondary school, experience exciting lessons and work with a range of their students and staff. Lessons in D&T, Spanish and science really brought the curriculum to life, building on what we've already learnt and giving the children a flavour of what's to come. Many thanks to Kings Norton Boys' School for looking after us so well.

We took a minibus full of children to watch Italy v Brazil, followed by France v South Africa in the Women's World Cup. The children had a brilliant time and were really inspired watching and meeting some of the players. Their behaviour was excellent too - they were a credit to the school.
